On January 30, 2023, at the Multipurpose Building, Sripatum University, Dr. Apirath Prateapusanond participated in a seminar on "Construction Resolution by Expert Determination," which was presented by Mr. Neil Kirkpatrick, an expert in construction dispute resolution from Australia.

The interesting point of discussion was an alternative method for quickly resolving construction disputes (within approximately 45 days). This process is straightforward, cost-effective, and fair. It involves the appointment of an expert in construction by the disputing parties themselves or through the agreement of a third party (nominating person or entity). This approach is widely used in Australia and other countries and has been proven effective, including in Thailand.
