Construction Mediation The Construction Law Club with Dr. Apirath Prateapusanond arranged a lecture on “Construction Mediation” via Zoom meeting on 25th June 2020 from 6:30 pm onward. The construction has plenty of details, both the construction work and the construction contract, resulting in the dispute between the parties. The resolution of the dispute in court will cause both parties to suffer a lot of damages because there are many procedures on the way and diagnosing problems takes a long time. The construction industry therefore uses alternative dispute resolution (ADR), which is a legitimate and supported by law. One of alternative dispute resolution which is popular in Thailand is arbitration. While foreign contracts also use other alternative dispute resolution, such as Adjudication, which has been used for decades, but this process is not yet widespread in Thailand, and Mediation, a process that is highly successful and widely used in the United States.
